Troubleshooting of concealed hard seal gate valve:

1、 Due to the influence of alternating temperature and coke shape during production, the concealed hard sealed gate valve is prone to coke sticking to the gate plate. The opening pressure range of the tower bottom valve is very large. In case of sticking of the concealed hard sealed gate valve, the gate should be loosened with a manual pump first, and then the hydraulic power unit should be used to operate the valve opening. Alternatively, after the coke removal is completed, the sealing steam pressure should be increased to 0.4 MPa and the valve should be opened and closed continuously for about 4 times to fully prepare for the next valve opening due to the coking on the gate surface. After the valve is closed for the next time, manually retracting about 50 valve rings can be too much, which can easily cause leakage for a long time. When the valve is opened in the next cycle, the valve can be closed to loosen the gate before opening (the closing force is about twice the opening force). Appropriately increasing the cylinder diameter can overcome the phenomenon of sticking and jamming

2、 When using sealed steam, the water in the pipeline should be completely removed. However, when using sealed steam, the two side steam traps were not used, resulting in a significant increase in steam consumption and a high water vapor ratio on site. After the sealed steam enters the valve and encounters high temperature, the valve does not produce water. The steam leakage of the drainage equipment is mainly caused by the condensation of water in the lower pipeline

3、 If encountering maintenance, it is necessary to check the condition of the gate and sealing pair. If the steam consumption increases too much during normal production, it may be due to wear and increased clearance of the gate or sealing pair. If there is damage, it should be replaced. When there is leakage in the flange of the feeding section and the gasket of the left and right cover flanges that cannot be tightened, the gasket should be replaced during maintenance. When replacing gaskets, the load capacity of lifting equipment and tools should be greater than twice the weight of the valve, and the front end should be greater than the rear end, otherwise it is easy for the valve body to overturn

4、 When installing valves on site, a spring suspension should be added to the oil cylinder end to reduce the impact of cantilever torque
